What foods can you dip into the Chocolate Fountain?

Some of the most popular dipping items include strawberries, marshmallows, pretzels, bananas, cookies, cream puffs, donut holes, caramel squares, rice krispie treats, just to name a few! Please remember that any “crumbly” type food may fall into the chocolate fountain, possibly causing disruption in the usually smooth curtain of flowing of chocolate.

Who provides the dipping items?

Clients can provide the approved dipping items on their own, or make arrangements with their caterer or banquet facility. Chocolate Fountain Party Rentals can also provide dipping items for a nominal per person fee. Please call 623-486-6622 for options, ideas, and information.

Can the Chocolate Fountain be used outside?

We do not usually recommend using the chocolate fountain outside for a couple of reasons:

1. Maintaining a warm temperature of chocolate is critical for continued smooth operation of the chocolate fountain. Depending on the time of the year and the general climate, this could be difficult to accomplish in an outdoor setting.
2. Because of the chocolate’s sweet aroma, little flying creatures are very likely to be attracted to the chocolate fountain. This can make for quite the unappetizing experience for your guests!

What do I have to provide when renting a Chocolate Fountain?

Since the fountain weighs approximately 100 pounds when full of chocolate (plus the weight of dipping items), a level, sturdy table is required. If it is not level, the chocolate may not flow properly. Your banquet facility or caterer should provide two table linens that will coordinate with your color scheme. The chocolate fountain requires a 120 volt grounded electrical outlet within 5 feet of the set-up location.

For non-catered events or private parties, the client is responsible for providing a sturdy table, optional table décor, and linens. Chocolate Fountain Party Rentals can also provide these items for a nominal fee.
